The library is introducing a new delivery service for those of you who are homebound. We propose to deliver books, audio books or videos of your choice on a regularly scheduled basis. If you have a home computer it may be possible for you to pre-select your own materials. You may receive this service on a temporary basis due to illness or injury, or on a permanent basis due to disability or chronic ill health. To begin, we need to identify people interested in having materials delivered to their homes, volunteers willing to prepare (and/or make) the deliveries. If you, or someone you know, would like to participate by either giving or receiving, please call Anita at library (294-66O6, press 2 for Reference) to register.

We would also like to remind you that library materials may be reserved from your home computer through the library's web site, http://purl.oclc.org/gplhs. From the main page choose reference, then choose Java WebPAC. Materials reserved through the library's webpage will be delivered to the library for you to pick up. Titles owned by the library and listed as checked in can not be reserved, you must either call the library during business hours and ask that they be set aside for you, or come in and get them from the shelf.
