The party's in full swing at the Goshen Public Library as we Celebrate! Read! Registration has started for this year's festive New York State Summer Reading Club. This free program is open to all Goshen School District students including Goshen Christian, St. John's and Burke. There are a variety of programs for kids entering Kindergarten through grade twelve including a special club for teens that involves volunteering and earning points for prizes.

Stop in at the library between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:30 pm, pick up your Celebrate! Read! Party packet and enjoy the fun with books, stickers, prizes, and programs (optional). We'll be reading, sharing books, making party hats and favors, playing party games and learning about the library.

So don't be a party pooper! RSVP (register) before July 6 and be our guest at a fun-filled, rollicking summer book blast!

Note to Parents: Joining the Reading CLub is a great way to encourage your child or teen to read for enjoyment while fulfilling those school summer reading requirements. We keep copies of all local school reading lists and, although we do not own every book, we can tap into the other 50 libraries in our system to find a copy for you.
